Although it is quite weird to hear everyone in Tibet and China speaking English, this movie revealed what had happened when China conquered Tibet in the 50s, forcing the 14th Dalai Lama (Kundun) to flee to India.
Mao said that “Religion is poison”, but I think that “Power and money are way stronger poisons then, they deteriorate human’s soul”. I always refuse to admit as a “Chinese”, because of all the ugly things my government did in the past and now! By the way, I am proud to be an Earthian, a citizen on Earth!
