Feeling great to hit the road again – Nullarbor Plain

Now I am camping in a middle of nowhere in Nullarbor Plain, a bit further than Norseman on the way to the WA and SA border, after around 800km car drive. It is such a experience of a lifetime, seeing how big this country is! All the way is actually the same kind of view, red dirt beside the main road with bushes and eucalyptus trees and extremely long water pipes to transfer water from Perth to the inland.

Using a local website gumtree.com.au , you can buy, sell and find almost everything in Australia. It is very handy to look for ride share from a place to another, so here is Mattia from Italy, Adam from Czech and Riana from America plus me traveling from Perth to Melbourne.

Normally I hate cooking on the road because it is just complicated, and I prefer eating biscuit, bread, veges and fruits. The 3 mates however think it is good idea to take some warm food for dinners so we purchase something to cook. Therefore I am having my first time ever camping and cooking in the wild, and I can say that is GREAT! I don’t think I will do it the same way when I am traveling alone on the bike in NZ though.

Anyway, it is good to leave WA after staying exactly 7 months here, meeting wonderful people and had the best and worst job ever. I am grateful to move on and head to a new adventure!
